If you prefer to sit on the couch while others look for eggs in the garden and don’t feel like watching “The Office” for the fifth time, then you’ve come to the right place.

You can watch these six new releases from the comfort of your home during the Easter period.

(But there’s still the option to go see “Dune 2” in theaters if you want to leave the house.)

This Japanese miniseries is set in 1600, at the beginning of the centuries-long civil war. Lord Yoshii Toranaga fights for his life after his enemies attack him. He receives unexpected help from an Englishman whose ship has run aground in a nearby fishing village. Because he has secrets that could help Toranaga tip the scales of power. The fate of the two men is inextricably linked to the interpreter Toda Mariko, a mysterious noblewoman.
