Whether Zack Snyder will really get the chance to build a gigantic franchise with multiple films and spin-offs from his new sci-fi brand after the disappointing start of ‘Rebel Moon – Part 1: Child of Fire’ remains to be seen viewed. But one thing is certain: the first film sequel will definitely come, as early as April 2024 with “Rebel Moon – Part 2: The Scar Maker” (even more brutal parts of both parts will follow halfway through the year).
Otherwise, Netflix offers a very colorful bouquet of novelties on the Originals front in April – from the German crime series “Crooks” from the makers of “4 Blocks” and with Frederick Lau, to the stylish “The Talented Mr. Ripley” Series adaptation “Ripley ” from Oscar-winning “Schindler’s List” author Steven Zailian to the bloody science fiction horror “Parasyte: The Grey,” in which “Train To Busan” director Yeon Sang-ho shows how a parasitic life form is put together with increasing control get over humanity.
And anyone longing for an addition to the world of the Netflix fantasy hit ‘The Sandman’ (season 2 is still a long way off) can look forward to ‘Dead Boy Detectives’, which is set in the same universe in which two deceased Teenagers have decided to solve supernatural crimes against the afterlife.
