He Canal Museum announced the appointment of Nyasha Warren as the new Head of Research and Documentation.

Warren was selected to lead this important work department of the museum, replacing Jean Sebastien Purcelot, who went abroad for doctoral studies.

with his leadership and strategic skillsthe institution is sure that it is new manager will continue to promote the development of the museum, consolidating itself as an international reference.

During his time as a researcher in the department of Research and documentation of the Canal MuseumWarren has conducted seminal research focused on learning history and the history of educational inequality.

Furthermore, her experience as a co-researcher in several national and international projects he strengthened his knowledge and skills in educational research.

His experience covers a wide range of roles in the field education, museums, consultation and management, highlighting his current role as a board member of the Association of Caribbean Museums, leading the organization of regional conferences to strengthen international cooperation in the Caribbean and its diaspora.

The researcher has also demonstrated a strong commitment to the community through her work supporting the Society of Friends of the Afro-Antillean Museum of Panama in its annual events and educational initiatives.

In addition to an impressive professional career, Warren has a solid one academic training which includes a Master of Education from Harvard Universityin Environmental Health Sciences from New York University and a BA in Biology from Oberlin College.

In his new role as head of research and documentation, Warren will continue to contribute growth and the excellence of the Canal Museum, consolidating its position as a leading institution in the field investigation and documentation.
