Drake Bell has accused a former Nickelodeon employee of sexual harassment

Musician and actor Drake Bell broke his silence and accused Brian Peckof a former employee of Nickelodeon, that he had sexually abused him.

Bell’s discovery comes as part of an upcoming documentary by the author Research discovery titled “Quiet on set: The dark side of children’s TV”where he singled out Peck, who has been a dialogue coach on television shows such as “All That” and “The Amanda Show.”

As you may recall, before Bell starred on “Drake & Josh” in 2004, the former star Nickelodeon was part of the cast “The Amanda Show”from 1999 to 2002.

In 2003, Peck was arrested on more than a dozen charges related to sexual abuse to the detriment of an unnamed minor, later, in 2004, he does not dispute the charges of execution lewd act with a minor between 14 and 15 years old and for oral copulation with a minor under the age of 16.

For those charges, Peck was sentenced to 16 months in prison and forced to register as a sex offender in October 2004, Variety noted.

As for Bell, the documentary will be a space to tell his experience of abuse after keeping his own anonymity with relationship in this case for more than two decades.

Produced by Maxine Productions and Sony Pictures Television, the documentary promises to offer an unprecedented look at toxic working conditions in program for children from the nineties and early 2000s, focusing especially on those created by Dan Schneider, says the Infobae notebook.

Schneider, known for creating cult series about Nickelodeon such as “iCarly” and “Zoey 101,” he faces accusations that he created an uncomfortable and perverse atmosphere on set.

It is worth mentioning that in addition to Bell, the documentary contains testimonies exclusively for others stars and members of the Schneider program team.
