Tuesday afternoon there was a stop on the social media front: Instagram and Facebook were temporarily unavailable in Switzerland. Users reported issues from all regions of Switzerland. It is not yet known how long the disruptions will last. Meta spokesperson Andy Stone confirmed the issues to X and said they were working on it.
The two social media services were back up and running around 6 p.m. The reason for the disruptions remains unclear.
