Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: What You Should Know?

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a condition that can affect people in many different occupations, including farmers, truck drivers, construction and factory workers, among others.

Treatment strategies are divided into non-surgical and surgical measures.

Non-surgical treatments include wearing a prosthesis at night and giving cortisone injections.

The surgical intervention for carpal tunnel syndrome is called carpal tunnel release. The ligament covering the carpal tunnel is divided, reducing pressure on the median nerve.
