His farewell song is a hit on YouTube

Spanish rapper Quevedo has more than 700,000 views Youtube in the first 10 hours of life with its subject ‘Last’with which he briefly says goodbye to take a break.

“I have to lose everything to get back to zero, remember how much it cost to make that possible get out of the hole“, says the song of Quevedo, who broke all records in 2023.

‘The Last’, released last night at midnight on major music platforms, is almost three minutes long and is accompanied by a video clip in Youtube which features a good number of artists who have collaborated with him in the last year, from Lola Índigo to Omar Montes, via Yandel, JC Reyes or Saiko.

Best selling album

At only 22 years old, an album debut which was the best seller in Spain in 2023 (“Where I want to be“) and collaborating with Bizarrap who led the global Spotify playlist for days, Pedro Luis Domínguez Quevedo got his followers used to adding almost all of his songs autobiographical notes.

That’s why almost everyone was thinking about what would happen in 2024 to his career as soon as his tour ended, wondering what that even meant. verse “2021 sow, 2022 gather, 2023 crown, 2024 disappear” which contained the song “Now what”.

Doubts were resolved by Quevedo himself a few days ago instagram, announcing that after a year of “madness” he is opening a bracket in his life and temporarily withdrawing from the show and social networks; because he recognizes that he is not a “machine” and that he was largely surpassed by what happened in the last year and a half.

If the topic that marks this point and follows your CV has been read in the same personal keythere are several accolades.

“I have so much money I don’t even know why I want it. By spending it all, I want to go back to zero,” he raps. “I need to fall in love with all this shit again, and I can’t do it without need. If it’s not out of need, I won’t move,” he continues.

Even with a distance, almost with disdain, he refers to one of his greatest achievements, the Latin Grammy for Best Urban Song of the Year, which he won in November for his collaboration with Argentinian producer Gonzalo Julián Conde, Bizarrap, for ‘Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52’, which his followers renamed “Quédate”.

“Gonza, I love you,” he says in ‘The Last’, “but I don’t even want a Grammy. I sing because it hurts, not to get an award.”
