Musicalion will take over Summer Canal in 2024

The stairs of the Administration Building prepare to receive Musicalionfestival of performance artan event that will take place from Thursday, February 1 to Sunday, February 4, to mark the closing of the Verano 2024 channel.

During the first weekend of Canal Summer 2024, the steps of the Panama Canal were witnesses the presence of thousands of people who enjoyed it various activities during the event.

On Friday, January 26, the festival started with the band’s concert Symphony from National University of PanamaAccompanying folk dances and poetry recitalsenriching the artistic and cultural expression of the country.

Saturday, January 27, was highlighted by the participation of more than 20 local stars, including DJ Leo Pérez, Némula, Cargarte a Marte, La K’shamba, Joey Montana, Comando Tiburón, Aldo Ranks, Real Phantom, among others. The highlight was the emotional Evolución III concert, where the legendary patrons of Cumbia, Sammy and Sandra Sandoval, celebrated more than 40 years of musical career.

On Sunday, January 28, the presentation of Luna Llena de Tambores created a a mystical experience to the rhythm of the drumemphasizing the connection with roots and tradition.

The Verano 2024 Canal, created in 2003 to celebrate Panamanian identity, is still cultural reference which encompasses the country’s artistic diversity. Participation national talents and the quality of the presentations confirm that it is a place to mark the rich cultural heritage.
