Denon X1800H: Perfect for ambitious novice users
The Denon receiver delivers 145 watts per channel. That’s enough to provide most home theaters with powerful sound. Provided of course you have the right speakers. You are flexible with the design: The maximum is a 7.2 setup (i.e. seven speakers and two subwoofers) possible. If you want to use Dolby Atmos, a 5.2.2 setup is ideal.
The connections on the back of the receiver make it possible many possibilities guess. There are six HDMI inputs, all of which support 4K at 120 Hz. Three of them can also process 8K signals at 60 Hz. The HDMI output also offers up to 8K at 60 Hz and eARC for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X signals.
