These are the four ‘Time Crime’ episodes

The “Time Crime” series is designed as an anthology and tells about a different case in each of the approximately hour-long episodes, while each of the standalone episodes was produced by a different filmmaking team.

The episode “1. December” by Mariko Minoguchi (“My ending. Your beginning.”). In it, 18-year-old Tim wanders home disoriented after a night of drinking. After he rings a stranger’s doorbell and is taken away by the police, he is found lifeless on a country road the next day. The second episode is called “The Panther” and was directed by Jan Bonny (“Winter’s Tale”). In it, ‘Babylon Berlin’ star Lars Eidinger takes on the role of a deceitful gambler and gangster who is soon in danger of being exposed.

Helene Hegemann (“Axolotl Overkill”) took her place in the director’s chair for the third chapter “Your Brothers”. It tells the story of young Cem, who, as part of a family community, begins to attack even his closest confidantes. Fear of him drives those around him to make a momentous decision. The finale is “Love By Proxy” by “Futur Drei” creator Faraz Shariats. In it, Earlie Thomas’s trip to Ghana turns disastrous when her life is in danger. The episode features “Anatomy of a Case” star Sandra Hülser in a supporting role.

The series, produced for Paramount+, is expected to land on the streaming service’s schedule after its Berlinale run.
