Everything is ready for the Thousand Pollera Parade

The organizers of the Thousand Poles Parade continue to reveal details about what the event will bring in 2024.

He Parade of a thousand Pollers In its next version, it will present important innovations that seek to increase economic performance in the Azuero region, as well as in the Pacific Riviera and the province of Veraguas, diversifying the offer and permeating the entire tourism value chain.

The parade is scheduled for January 13, and before that, a red carpet and the Center for 360° Photography will be laid in front of the Governor’s Office.

As part of strategies implemented for this purpose, the “Tourist Passport” is enabled on the website www.milpolleras.gob.pa, a space that aims to publicize a wide variety of tourist attractions and destinations, activating the chain tourist value in the areas surrounding the city of Las Tablas.

Furthermore, from Wednesday, January 10 A series of activities will be held that will glorify our typical national costume, but also the work of craftsmen and women, as well as farmers of this region, activities which will run until Sunday 14th January (see attached file).

The program of the parade includes: Craftsmanship and Micro-Entrepreneurship Fair, La Pollera National Symposium, and the Fruit and Vegetable Fair.

Tourism

To date, only in the provinces Los Santos and Herrerahotel occupancy rates are above 85% occupancy, with hotels near the town of Las Tablas being up to 100% occupancy between Friday, January 12th and Sunday, January 14th.
