Recently someone from the editorial team said: “A GA for all Swiss ski areas, that would be brilliant.” Well, there isn’t a GA for all of Switzerland (and it probably wouldn’t be cheap either). But many – the larger – ski areas are part of a network somewhere.
Of the larger ski areas, only two do not participate in network ski passes: Toggenburg Chäserrugg and Hoch Ybrig. All others can also be purchased with a “Regional Ticket”.
The network in Swiss ski areas is somewhat complicated and there are also several overlaps. 162 ski areas belong to at least one larger network, some of which have two or even three. Let’s see it on the map:
In addition, we individually have the 13 largest ski associations in Switzerland here. Click on the buttons to view the different options. The prices here are for adults. In some cases there are discounts on purchases made in the pre-season or when the season is already underway.
And also important: some network ski passes can also be used for mountain railways or other offers in the summer. Direct price comparisons are therefore sometimes difficult:
Before we get into the details of association ski passes, some ski areas work together with others without association lift passes by offering discounts at partner ski areas. This list would go beyond this, but as an example: everyone who purchases the Ebenalp-Horn season pass has price advantages in the partner area Lenzerheide-Arosa and can use the Solleg village ski lifts in Appenzell and Brülisau-Leuleidingen free of charge.
In Uri things get more complicated. There is no classic combined ski pass here. But as a season ticket holder in Andermatt you get a 50 percent discount on the day ticket in the smaller ski areas in the Uri Unterland.
With the seasonal subscription in Biel-Kinzig there are discounts in other ski areas, summer offers and discounts on clothing and anyone who buys the seasonal subscription at the Brüsti ski lift can also ski for free on the Eggbergen (and vice versa).
And then there’s the Uri Ski Lift Challenge. You won’t get a discount, but you can win prizes if you use as many ski lifts as possible.
Let’s take a closer look at the different major composite lift passes.
In Valais, six destinations have been combined to form the “4 Vallées”. You can also buy a ski pass for only some areas. In summer you can also use the seasonal subscription for the entire area for an additional charge of 104 francs.
With your annual subscription you will also receive a digitized discount booklet. There are various options for leisure activities in summer and winter, including more than 50 days of free or discounted skiing at partner ski areas. These include five free days of skiing in the Aletscharena, 50 percent discount for Arosa/Lenzerheide or unlimited day tickets for Elm.

The GraubündenCARD is valid all year round. This means that you can use all the mountain railways in Graubünden in both summer and winter. In winter, some small ski lifts are not included. These include (list not exhaustive): Aela Panorama Ski Lift, Maloja / Sur Cresta Ski Lift, Casaccia / Selfranga Ski Lift, Klosters / Junker Ski Lift, St. Antönien / Pany Ski Lift, Pany / Mastrils Ski Lift, Mastrils / Lantsch Ski Lift, Lenz / Alvaneu Ski Lift , Alvaneu village / Runal Péra ski lift, Trun.

15 smaller and medium-sized ski areas in Graubünden have joined forces in KMS GR. When you purchase a KMS winter subscription, you benefit from a 50 percent discount on day tickets for other KMS areas.

As is known, the ski areas Riederalp, Bettmeralp and Fiesch-Eggishorn have been merged into the Aletsch Arena.
Anyone who buys a season ski pass will receive five free days of skiing in each of the partner areas 4 Vallées, Porteil du Soleil, La Fouly and San Domenico Ski (Italy). You can also enjoy three days in the Feldberg ski area in the Upper Black Forest.
Here you will find more information.
Finally, the Valais Mountain Map. This is not a network ski pass, but a card with which you always calculate the cheapest price (4-hour, half-day or day ticket) in the partner ski areas; in some cases these are also local rates. The Leukerbad thermal baths are also included.
You pay 10 francs for the card, which you can then use directly to the slopes in the 23 participating ski areas and you will automatically be charged the best price.
