Susan Castillo is criticized for the support her husband has received

Susan Elizabeth Castillo has been heavily criticized on social media after it became known that her husband Boris Reyes is among the beneficiaries of President Laurentino “Nita” Cortiz’s discretionary grant.

Recently, the website of the Ministry of the Presidency updated the President’s discretionary allocation, which in the last three months alone amounted to US$ 1,887,308.9 for medical expenses, educational and sports activities, among others.

In the category treatment costsenters the case of the journalist’s husband ECOTVreceived financial support in the amount of USD 8,793.17 for “medical care passing by coronary (amount not covered by your insurance company)” at Punta Pacifica Hospital, according to the August 2023 discretionary item.

Castillo said he would not speak on the subject, but as information was sent to him by at least three of his contacts, he made several statements about it on a television program he works on.

For her husband’s case, she stated that the operation he underwent was very expensive and that they could not cover everything, so, since he has been a state official for more than 17 years, they supported him with a “contribution” to pay for the operation to the end. .

The journalist She assured that she had nothing to do with any politician and that she got the help because of “his (her husband’s) health problem”.

Clarifications from Castle they did not serve to pacify critics, since, according to some users on social networks, neither she nor her husband need these funds, as they have allegedly boasted several times about the “little treats” they treat each other.

“I support those who have the most and the poor person with cancer is dying”, “And she lives a great life on the internet, she even had a shave ice business in Metromall”, “But the life you give yourself. I don’t understand”, “But you’re beating yourself up about what you have, have and have”, “Don’t make excuses… or defend the indefensible OK! Yours is totally shameless!”, “I guess the son who studies in the USA will also have a little help” and “And he has no money, but spends his time writing about his travels and rich lives”, are some of the comments.

But Castilla’s husband was not the only beneficiary of the president’s discretionary award; other persons in court, such as Osvaldo Ayala, also received financial contributions for treatment.

Tipiquero received $15,841.50 in “partial financial support for inpatient and emergency medical services specializing in cardiovascular care,” something that caused anger and dissent in the networks.
