The magical world of Hogwarts couldn’t be more detailed. In it you can discover many secret places and magical objects that work according to their own rules. There are also numerous Easter eggs in the “Harry Potter” films starring Daniel Radcliffe and Co. crept in, bringing joy to fans. Today we present you one that couldn’t be more unobtrusive and at the same time tells something about the entire series.
We would be talking about a magical artifact: the Marauder’s Map. It is an extremely practical tool in the magical world. Here you can view all activities on the Hogwarts grounds. Just what you need if you want to avoid danger or an unpleasant teacher. However, it comes with certain risks. After all, there are also activities where you may not want to be seen…
The Marauder’s Map reveals an important detail
The makers of the map have immortalized themselves on it. Moon (Lupine), Wormtail (Peter Pettigrew), Padfoot (Sirius Black), and Crown (James Potter) solemnly acknowledge their participation. You are probably aware so far. But what you may not have known is that the order in which the characters introduce themselves plays an important role. It gives you spoilers about when the characters will die. But don’t worry, the Easter egg can only be noticed by viewers who are sufficiently familiar with the story about Harry and his friends.
Because the creators die in exactly the opposite order. First, James Potter is murdered by Lord Voldemort. In the 5th part, Sirius follows him, who is murdered by Bellatrix in Harry’s presence. Wormtail dies in Malfoy’s cellar. Ultimately, Lupine dies in the Battle of Hogwarts. This Easter egg is particularly difficult to discover because it is only noticed after multiple viewings of the series. But now you know: sometimes Easter eggs can also be minor spoilers.
