On cold days, you like to stay within your own four walls. With just a few simple steps, you can transform your home into an oasis of well-being.

Winter has come. Temperatures are dropping, but not just outside. We may get a little less heat due to high energy costs.

We bring more warmth and comfort to our living rooms with autumn colors, cozy materials and warm light sources. These are the life trends of autumn and winter.

Naturalness in focus

Scandinavians define the feeling of security, comfort and satisfaction as “hygge”. This word is heard more and more often when it comes to interior design trends in this country. “Scandi style” is popular this winter season. The lifestyle is characterized by natural materials and elegant colours. Furniture made of light wood and colors such as cream white, beige or light gray add naturalness to your home. Earth tones such as sand, taupe, brown or olive are also very popular this fall.

70’s comeback

Soft fabrics will warm us this winter. We make our home cozy with comfortable pillows, woolen blankets and soft carpets. Corduroy fabric from the 70s, used for furniture coverings, is especially popular this season. The fabric provides comfort and is easy to combine.

The retro look celebrates its return, only in corduroy. Round shapes, which we know from the 70s, dominate furniture and decoration products. Curves bring dynamism to the room and provide comfort. Round armchairs, tables, carpets or round-shaped artistic sculptures are especially popular these days.

Warm light to feel good

We make our home more comfortable on winter days with warm light sources. This can be done without much effort with candlelight, which creates a romantic atmosphere.

Warm lamp light is also very trendy this year. For example, paper lamps that illuminate the room with a pleasant light. Thick paper catches the light and makes it look more delicate and soft. During the day, the lamps function as abstract works of art. You can also create indirect lighting by turning a floor lamp to illuminate the wall.
