Hangovers and broken relationships: Apache 207 sings about wine in these songs

Apache 207 celebrated real success with their debut album “Staircase”. The work, which rose to first place in the album charts in Germany, remained in the top 100 for 110 weeks. The artist also topped the album charts in Switzerland with his first work.

In the song “Unterwegs”, Apache 207 describes how he comfortably took a limousine to a concert in Switzerland. Then comes this sentence: “Too much wine, I have to go on stage tomorrow, I know, I will drink a cappuccino and relax, I’m sure I will burst into tears.” The singer hints that he drank one or two glasses of wine too much and that it would be better to switch to coffee from now on.

There is also an interesting passage about wine in the album “2Sad2Disco”. In the song “Sport” Apache 207 recalls how he spent evenings and nights with friends: “It started in a parking lot with the boys, empty stomach, some cheap wine, not like then today, healthy “I promise, I’ll do some exercise tomorrow, you know.”

In this context, wine is a luxury food, but its consumption somehow makes Apache 207 feel guilty. So she convinces herself to do some exercise the next day to compensate. Will he stick to his decision?

“Gartenstadt” is Apache 207’s third and final studio album. Its name comes from the Ludwigshafen Garden City area where the artist grew up. In the song “Without Mercy” he talks about a broken relationship and again includes the vineyard:

“Maybe we’ve gone too far again but it will never be the same again, memories carry the weight of wine, I slam the door and you scream.” Apache 207 seems to remember his broken relationship by drinking wine. He’ll probably be happy when the bottle is empty.
