Without a doubt, ‘The Boys’ is one of the best and most popular shows in the Amazon catalog. It was no surprise then that Amazon decided to gradually expand ‘The Boys’ universe – in the form of spin-offs. In addition to the animated anthology series ‘The Boys: Diabolical’, ‘The Boys: Gen V’ also premiered in September 2023 and is seen as a kind of season 3.5 that bridges the wait for the new episodes of the main series – and with great success!

This has now motivated Amazon to expand the spin-off with a second season – more than two weeks before the finale of the first season can be seen on Prime Video on November 3 with episode 8 (“The Guardians Of Godolkin”).
So fans can look forward to returning to Godolkin University, which is funded by the corrupt mega-corporation, in the coming years (probably 2025). Here, students are trained to become the next generation of heroes – and often with quite lucrative support. This also determines whether the students ultimately become heroes or villains in their own story.
