Russell Brand, applauded after being accused of sexual assault

British actor and comedian Russell Brand received a standing ovation from a rapturous audience as he performed at his show in London on Saturday night, his first appearance since being accused of sexual assault by four women.

About 2,000 people packed the Troubadour Wembley Park theater in northwest London to see the play “Bipolarisation” by a 48-year-old man accused by several women of rape, sexual abuse and psychological abuse, in a British media investigation.
