“I am very afraid that my job will be taken over by a bot”

Hello everyone,

I am Julia, 35 years old, and have been working as an analyst in the financial sector for over ten years. In recent months, I have watched with increasing concern as artificial intelligence and automation gained a foothold in various industries. From automated trading to customer service chatbots, technology seems unstoppable.

I love my job and have invested a lot of time and energy to get where I am today. But now I wonder: how safe is my position really? Can software do what I do as well or better? This gives me sleepless nights. My job is more than just a salary for me; it gives me a sense of identity and I have sacrificed a lot to get where I am today. The thought that this could soon all be in vain makes me truly helpless.

Have any of you had similar fears or even experienced this kind of professional insecurity? What do you think are the best strategies to make yourself ‘irreplaceable’ in this rapidly changing working world?
