Many people think they drink too little. So how much water should you drink in the summer heat? About 75 percent of humans are made up of water. 3. Watermelon

Watermelon is more popular than ever on a hot summer day. 90 grams of water and 39 kcal are distributed over 100 grams. The refreshing fruit is perfect for making healthy smoothies as it doesn’t need any other liquids. Vitamins A and B are also abundant in watermelon.

4. Cauliflower

Cauliflower is particularly rich in vitamin C and minerals such as calcium and magnesium. 100 grams of it contains about 92 grams of water and only 25 kcal. These water-rich vegetables are great for cooking and frying without losing their consistency.

Like lemons, oranges are known for their high vitamin C content. There are also larger amounts of vitamins B1 and B2. And all this with a share of 90 grams of water and 47 kcal (per 100 grams). So you only need one piece a day to meet your vitamin C needs.

6. Radish

Perfect with red, small, pepperoni and cold Brettljause (= mixed sausage plate). With about 94 grams of water and 15 kcal (per 100 grams), radishes are surprisingly rich in water. These guys also have a lot of potassium, vitamin C and phosphorus.

7. Rhubarb

Rhubarb is often mistakenly counted as a fruit, but it is actually a vegetable. 100 grams of it contains about 94 grams of water, only 14 kcal and 4 grams of fiber. In addition to cakes, it can be wonderfully processed into compote or jam.

8. Asparagus

This vegetable is available in white and green. Varieties differ in taste, but do not differ in composition. With about 93 grams of water and only 18 kcal (per 100 grams), asparagus is one of the usual ingredients of fasting diets. Vegetables are also rich in calcium and nitrogen.

Mushrooms like button mushrooms are surprisingly nutritious. In addition to vitamin D and all B vitamins, they also contain protein and essential amino acids for muscles. 100 grams comes to 95 grams of water and 22 kcal.

10. Pumpkin

Zucchini is especially popular in Mediterranean cuisine. Pumpkin, which contains approximately 95 grams of water and only 19 kcal per 100 grams, helps you meet your daily water needs.
