And we adjust it according to the season. Because while light, fruity notes are popular in summer, cocktails should warm us up in autumn and winter. That’s why the new season brings not only different moods, but also new ideas for unique drinks: Various foods are collected in the autumn, some are also used in the bar. Ingredients for delicious fall drinks range from cranberry to apple juice, pear liqueur or ginger to cinnamon sticks. Wolfgang Bogner, bartender at Zurich’s Tales Bar, explains his fall favorites and how to mix them up.
Cocktail Tip 1: Apple Collins

- According to Wolfgang Bogner’s recipe, the drink is mixed as follows: Put all the ingredients in a highball glass and mix with ice cubes.
- Fill the glass with cider or cider.
- Finally, garnish the drink with an apple slice.
Cocktail Tip 2: Pear Negroni

- Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice cubes and shake well.
- Pour the mixture into a glass and garnish with a pear slice.

- Put the fresh blackberries in a shaker and mash them lightly.
- Put all the ingredients except the blackberry liqueur into the shaker and mix well.
- Fill a glass with crushed ice and pour the cocktail over it.
- Slowly pour the blackberry liqueur on top and garnish the glass with fresh berries.
