‘The Misanthrope’ arrives in cinemas in Panama

Eleanor (Shailene Woodley) is a young researcher on combat police against demons from her past when the FBI’s chief investigator (Ben Mendelsohn) recruits her to help profile and monitor the work of a disturbed person, the synopsis says.

As the police and the fbi they launch a national manhunt, thwarted at every turn by the unprecedented behavior of an individual.

Given her tortured psyche, Eleanor may be the only person who can understand the mind of her attacker and bring him to justice.

Shailene Woodley (“Big Little Lies” and “The Fault in Our Stars”) stars in this one inexorable thriller with Ben Mendelsohn (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Ready Player One, Robin Hood).

The team is completed by Javier Julia (“Wild Tales”, Argentina 1985) – director Photography– and legendary composer Carter Burwell, who scored all of the Coen brothers’ films, including Barton Fink, Fargo, The Big Lebowski and the Academy Award-winning Best Picture No Country for Mildew.
