You want your children to know about the homeless situation

Prince William, the heir to the British crown, wants his children to know about the plight of the homeless and intends to take them to a shelter for these people, as his mother Diana of Wales did in her own time.

This was stated by the prince in an interview published today by the British Sunday newspaper “The Sunday Times”, which coincides with the celebration of “Father’s Day” in the United Kingdom.

Guillermo (40) said that his sons are princes George, Charlotte and Luis– “they will definitely be exposed” to what homelessness entails so that they will see firsthand how “some of us need a helping hand”.

The prince added that he was thinking about the right moment to take them to a homeless shelter, as his mother, Princess Diana, did with him when he was 11 years old.

Also, the king’s eldest son Charles III wants to start a new project that will solve this problem.

In his interview, William He said he talked to his children, on the way to school, about some people they could see sitting, homeless, outside the supermarket.

At the time, “one of the things I was thinking about was when would the right moment take Jorge, Carlota and Luis to a homeless organization,” he said.

“They will certainly be exposed to it. U way to schoolwe talk about what we see,” added William, who currently lives in a house in Windsor, outside London.

“When we were inside London, driving back and forth, we used to see people sitting outside the supermarket and we would talk about it. I would say to the children, ‘Why are you here? What is happening?’ I think it’s in everyone’s interest, it’s right, to expose children… to understand,” he explained.

“They’re going to grow up knowing that, actually, you know what? Some of us are very the lucky onesSome of us need a little help, some of us need to do a little more where we can to help others, make their lives better.”

The prince will thus follow in the footsteps of his mother, who took him and his brother, prince henryIn 1993, to visit a shelter for the homeless in London run by “Passage”, an organization of which he is now a patron.

Earlier this year, he recalled the experience, saying, “My my mother presented me with the cause of the deficiency housing from a young age, and I’m very glad that he did.

“I think she would be disappointed that we haven’t progressed in terms of that yet solve homelessness and prevent it,” the crown prince admitted.

Later this month, the prince hopes to launch a charity project from him and his wife – royal foundation-, with whom you trust can provide help to people in need.
