And again, Joe (Penn Badgley) got away with it. The notorious stalker from “You – Du will love me” eventually fell back into old murderous patterns after it initially seemed like he could really make a new life as a literature professor in England. And if that wasn’t enough, with events replaying at the end of season four, Joe seems to accept his dark side more than ever and eventually returns to the place where it all began: New York.
But we don’t stop there, after all, there wouldn’t be much else to tell in the fifth and final “You” season. So Joe is caught up with his past again and apparently continues to give in to his dark tendencies. Will he still receive his bill when the tide has turned for him again? In any case, for the finale of the big series, you could hardly imagine anything else.
The opinion is too Lead actor Penn Badgley, who since the release of the fourth season already wished that Joe would finally get what he deserved with a further renewal of the series. We’ll find out if Badgley’s wish is actually granted when the fifth season of “You” is released on Netflix. However, for the first time, Season 5 will not be the responsibility of series creator Sera Gamble, but the duo of Michael Foley and Justin W. Lo, who previously worked on “You” as producers.
