That’s what “Secret Invasion” is about
Anyone who was looking forward to a Marvel-typical superhero series with “Secret Invasion” should rub their eyes in amazement after watching the first 5 minutes and the already released trailer, because bombastic superhero action has so far been sought in vain. In return, we seem to be expecting a really gritty thriller series whose action sequences could also be taken from cop action movies like “Mission: Impossible”.
The Secret Invasion centers on the return of Nick Fury, who must stop an invasion by a radicalized group of Skrulls. The tricky part is that the Skrulls are shape-shifters who, in their quest to seize power, replace politicians or influential figures with shape-shifting Skrull agents. Who else can Fury trust on his mission?
