As in real life, wine has good years and bad years. The 1980 crop heralded a masterful decade for the Bordeaux wine region, first of all the legendary 1982 crop followed by 1983, 1985, 1986, 1988 and 1989. offer cool temperatures and lots of rain outside.

Selected wine shops offer 1980’s Château Mouton Rothschild for around 300 francs per 0.75-liter bottle, while wine has recently reached even lower prices at auctions.
