British telecommunications operator BT expects to reduce its workforce by between 40,000 and 55,000 workers in the next seven years, which will mean a reduction of between 31% and 42% of the current workforce of around 130,000 people, as reported by the multinational company in the presentation of its annual accounts.
As explained by the British operator, His goal is to reduce the company’s workforce from an effective 130,000 from today to between 90,000 and 75,000 for the period from 2028 to 2030.
