A Turkish airline is increasing operations in Panama

An airline company Turkish Airlines has increased its operations in Panama, with 10 flights per week.

Iván Eskildsen, general manager of the Tourist Board, pointed out that there are seven flights from Turkey to Panama via Bogota and three direct flights, while there are 10 direct flights from Panama to Turkey.

He added that these flights show the airline’s deep commitment to Panama, which has increased its operations.

“Panama and Istanbul represent centers in their respective regions. Each feeds off the other,” the senior official added.

In this sense, he pointed out that this is a key opportunity for the promotion of Panama as a tourist destination on the Turkish market, since airline seats for that destination already exist.

For his part, Ahmet Bolat, president of Turkish Airlines, emphasized that the relationship between the countries has been going on for several years and the intention is to continue to strengthen it.

This connection also promotes exchange between the cultures of the two countries.

For his part, Raffoul Arab, manager of Tocumen International Airport, said this development strengthens the terminal as a major hub for Latin America.

“The airline is doing very well and we are satisfied with its growth in the region,” he emphasized.

A few days ago, National Tourist Chamber of Panama and Türsaba, The Association of Travel Agencies of Turkey has signed a cooperation agreement aimed at encouraging the exchange of visitors between the two countries.
