The first day of the Air Europa pilot strike, held this Monday, resulted in 18 flights affected, including four to or from Galicia: two from Madrid (one to Vigo and the other to A Coruña). and two more originating from Galicia (one from the city of olives and the other from Herculina) and directed towards Madrid.
The strike, which was called by the Sepla union, will have its second day of strike this Tuesday, and a total of 18 aircraft are also expected to be affected. In the case of Galicia, it will be the same flights as the previous day. The first, with departure time from Madrid at 10.40 and destination Vigo; the second with departure from Vigo and destination Madrid (with scheduled departure time at 8:40 a.m.); the third to be canceled was scheduled for 8.35 from A Coruña and had Madrid as the end of the journey; while the fourth affected flight in the community had to take the reverse route (Madrid-A Coruña) at 10:35 am.
The strike will continue on May 4 and 5.
