Panamanian chess already knows its finalists for 2023

After two stages qualifications: provincial and national semi-finalsnames of chess players classified in the 2023 version National Chess Championship.

In the women’s division, the following players are vying for the Lourdes Vásquez title: Raisa Barría, Yaleika Chung, Alba Muñoz, María Carrillo, Ashley Castillo, Layla Caicedo, the Mariana sisters and Mayrelis Lobo, Keytlin Chavarría. The last five are under the age of 16, which is promising.”We are very happy for everyone, especially for the women’s final, because the average age is the lowest in our history,” he pointed out.
