Galician construction company Copasa He just made the official balance of numbers for 2022 and the numbers point to growth in the main financial metrics. According to the data published in the report presented in Alternative fixed income market (MARF) the traffic of the Ourense group was HRK 390.5 million euros. This is 21.6% more than the previous year, when turnover amounted to 321.2 million euros. The gross operating result (ebitda) was 62.98 million, which means a growth of 36.3%. Copasa’s pre-tax profit reached EUR 27.4 million, 27% more than the previous year.

Good figures of the construction company headed by Jose Luis Suarez They are, among other things, based on the internationalization of business. And that is that the international portfolio represented 43% of the total in 2022. Among all the markets where Copasa operates, he pointed out Latin America, which accounted for 24.9% of the total number. It was also prominently present in the Middle East (8.2%) and the United States (6.4%).

In this direction, the Galician company operates on three Galician highways — Costa da Morte, Celanova and Salnés — with shares that in some cases reach 70%. It also has a concession for the Circuito Vial Tres, a road almost 300 kilometers long located in Uruguay. In this case, Copasa has an 80% stake in the consortium that also includes Espina Obras Hidráulicas. Other concessions in which the company from Ourense is present range from parking lots to water treatment plants or gas stations. In Brazil, for his part, he designed and built a sanitary network in the state of Belem for later rental.

As of December 31, 2022, Copas’ project portfolio amounts to approximately EUR 2,524 million. The group’s workforce numbers 1,527 employees.
