The Xunta will establish a law to tax offshore wind power transmission lines

A new regional law will facilitate the removal of part of the advantages of renewable energy and mining in Galicia

The Xunta started the procedures this Thursday new law to benefit the exploitation of natural resources return to Galicia. The Xunta leader insisted that the entry of private capital is necessary, and ruled out the possibility of creating the entity exclusively with public funds.

The regulations, whose processing was launched by the Xunta council this Thursday, will first go through a phase of public input that will open in the coming days. Rueda believed that the law would put Galicia in the «energy transition center» which Europe is experiencing.
