The corn surplus puts domestic producers under control

The agricultural cycle of corn production has increased by more than 360 thousand quintals and now producers are looking for alternatives to sell some of this surplus to avoid farm losses or rains affecting the product.

Although the companies have already fulfilled 88 percent of the agreed procurement of grains used in the production of animal feed, animal feed and others, there are still about 60,518.93 quintals left for purchase, explains the Ministry of Agriculture (MIDA).
