Panama Metro hopes to take home advantage against Oeste

Team Panama hopes to use home field advantage when they face the Panama Oesta Vaqueros in Game 3 of the National Youth Baseball Championship semifinal series.

The “Metrillos” led by Kenny Serracín welcome the current young baseball champions today at the Rod Carew Stadium, in a game scheduled for 19:00.

The series between the Capitalians and the boys from the West is tied 1-1 and is the best of seven games.

The first game in the series between the two teams was won by the team led by former major leaguer Carlos César Maldonado by a score of 3-2.

While in the other game held at the Justino “Gato Brujo” Salinas Stadium, Panama Metro beat Oeste 5-4.

Now the series moves to the capital, where Panama Metro has the advantage of playing three straight games at its home, Rod Carew Stadium.
