Enfragen establishes its regional headquarters in Panama

Enfragen, a renewable energy company, recently acquired five factories in Panamawith the establishment of a regional headquarters in the capital.

Acquisition in the country consists of three hydroelectric power plants and two photovoltaic solar power plantsnext to a wind farm in sister country Costa Rica.

Regarding the establishment of the regional headquarters, Duval said that Panama represents a key market, highlighted by its own efficient economy and efficient market regulationadded to a firm commitment to the energy transition.

Enfragen works in La Concepción, Chiriquía 10 MW hydroelectric plant, two on the Piedra River in this same province, with 20 MW between them and known as Las Perlas Norte and Las Perlas Sur.

In addition, it operates a 25 MW hydroelectric power plant in Estí River, in Gualaca, Chiriquíand two others known as Lorena and Prudencia, fed by the Cochea and Papayal rivers, with a combined output of 93 MW.

As for solar energy, it now has parks Solar Prudence, in Chiriquíwhich produces 9.7 MW, i Solar currency, in Cocléwith a production of 9.9 MW.

Enfragen, owned by Glenfarne Energy Transition, LLC and Partners Group, has ambitions for additional investments in Panama in the next 12 monthsincluding the construction of new solar power plants.

The company has a operating capacity of more than 2.1 GW across Central and South Americaincluding Chile, Panama, Colombia and the United States.
