Terminal 2 serves more than 9 million passengers

Currently, the Terminal concentrates 48% of the total business of the airport, through COPA AirlinesAir France and KLM, along with other airlines that carry out partial boarding and disembarking operations and domestic terminals with direct flights to the city of David, Chiriquí province.

As for commercial activity that contributes to sustainability Airport Financial, at Terminal 2 38 duty-free stores were activated, along with a wide range of services that generated more than 1,600 new direct jobs in the private sector, Arab explained.

On the other hand, Arab announced that in the coming weeks and months the offer from catering services with premises for holidays, a new office, bookstores, pharmacies, new shops, a multi-religious prayer room and a children’s playground.

Terminal 2whose investment was $917 million, has extensive and modern facilities, 20 boarding bridges, comfortable immigration and customs areas, baggage scanners, a baggage handling system with the capacity to handle up to 12,000 bags per hour, electrical auxiliary equipment, fuel storage and shipping, more than a thousand parking spaces and metro stations, among other amenities for travelers.
