A bright couple of the British monarchy attended a significant event. The couple were guests of honor at the wedding of the son of Jordan’s King Abdullah and Queen Rania. Kate looked stunning in an elegant pink Elie Saab gown during the ceremony at the Jordanian monarchs’ residence, Zahran Palace in Amman. The guests came one by one to greet Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa.

The Royal Hashemite Palace released a video of the Prince and Princess of Wales. All the guests chatted with the newlyweds for about 10 seconds, but Kate and the bride chatted for just over a minute. Prince William had to step in to calm his chatty wife and the welcoming ceremony went on as usual.

The couple exchanged several hugs and kisses with the newlyweds. A representative of the British royal family congratulated Princess Rajwa on her wedding day and praised the bride’s dress, which was made by the same Lebanese designer as her outfit. William stood at his wife’s right. Seeing that the exchange of pleasantries was dragging on and the other guests in line nervous, he entered the conversation. The heir to the throne impatiently twisted his hand in a signature gesture to hurry Kate along. The pair exchanged quick, telling glances before Kate finally ended her conversation with the newlyweds and made room for the others.

It became known that William had a lot in common with Hussein – they were destined for the role of heirs to the throne. Both princes – British and Jordanian – are graduates of the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst, according to the New York Post.

The men share a friendship and spent time together in 2018 when William was in Jordan on a state visit. Both princes are avid football fans, by the way. They watched the 2018 World Cup match between England and Panama together. Kate also shares a special bond with Jordan after living here for three years as a child. In 2021, the couple spent a holiday in the country with their three children – George, Charlotte and Louis.
