There was another good reason why Kim didn’t like the role of Samantha. It turns out that initially it was written in the script that the heroine would have children. But Cattrall was of the opinion that “this woman could not have had children”. After a long struggle, the producers still listened to the actress and agreed with her arguments. The plot with Samantha’s children was completely removed. Afterwards, Kim agreed to come read the script.

And literally from the first minute it was clear to everyone, including her, that this was a 100% hit. Millions of viewers around the world fell in love with Samantha, and the role took Cattrall’s popularity to a whole new level. True, there were losses. So the actress admitted that the show “cost her marriage” because of the busy schedule.

“I was never home, my husband became lonely, frustrated and aggressive and it was very difficult, it was very difficult. I ended up spending more time with my Sex and the City family than my real family.”said the actress.
