Critical moment: Kate Middleton confronts protesting woman who accused monarchy of child abuse May 26, 2023, 12:55 pm

The royals regularly encounter opponents of the monarchy and have to get out to save the day. Prince William’s wife has learned to get out of the situation over the years of marriage with him and tries to maintain her dignity. Kate’s final departure almost turned out to be tragic for her. The Princess of Wales came to the Foundling Museum, which tells the story of Britain’s first hospital for abandoned children.

The flamboyant representative of the monarchy was in good spirits as she stepped out of the tinted SUV. Middleton chose a pink pantsuit and summer blouse from her favorite high-end brand Alexander McQueen, accessorized with gold pearl earrings, a statement belt and white pumps.

However, the smile on the royal face disappeared when she saw the protesting woman. The British woman was dressed in a bright green T-shirt and blue jeans and was holding a white canvas bag in her hands. Looking at the future queen, she quickly pulled out the leaflets. On one of them was written: “Born Equal”, on the other: “Monarchy is the abuse of children.”

When the Princess of Wales saw the protester, she “put on” a service smile and walked past her with an indifferent look. The anti-monarchist wanted to rush to Kate but was pushed away from the wife of the heir to the throne by police, who are always on duty at events involving the royal family, reports the Mirror.

In an interview with journalists, the woman expressed indignation at the fact that members of the royal family are initially born with their titles and a high position in society, without working for it and doing nothing. According to her, since childhood they lead a privileged life at the expense of taxpayers. The protester said that the monarchy has long outlived itself and in the 21st century all the inhabitants of the planet should have equal opportunities.

It is not the first time that representatives of the monarchy have been forced to fend off an attack by anti-royalists. So King Charles III. and his wife Camilla were pelted with eggs during an official visit to York in November last year. Fortunately for the monarch, he was surrounded by retinue at the time. The escorts managed to push the man back and take Carl to safety. The rioter was immediately arrested by the police.

Kate Middleton and Prince William were insulted by a woman during a visit to Northern Ireland last October. She advised the royal guests to go to their own country, saying that Ireland belonged to the Irish.
