According to the man, he should have been taken to the TV program thanks to the support of a friend from the Comedy Club – Arena Virabyan. Jan stated that he transferred half of the amount to the Comedy Club office, but then the acquaintance stopped communicating.

“The man told the police that somehow he met a certain Aren Virabyan, who said he worked at Comedy and knew everyone there. After some time, Aren invited Jan to become the hero of the show “Bachelor”. 10 million rubles were needed to approve the man’s candidacy. Yang transferred half of the amount directly in the Comedy office, but then nothing happened – the man was simply thrown, ”the Baza Telegram channel reported.

After several months of investigation, the high-profile case has taken a new turn. In March, investigators detained Virabyan, but stopped cooperating with him after examining the testimony. Now CEO Andrey Levin and show founder Tash Sargsyan have been summoned for questioning. The first testified and the second is now abroad.

“At first, Aren was the main suspect, but the man testified against one of the founders of the comedy, Tash Sargsyan. According to Virabyan, he promised to approve the candidacy, but simply took the money and did not return it. Now the police have no claims against Virabyan – the questions are only for Tash, ”said the insider.

Levin testified. Together with the lawyer Mikhail Mushailov, they noticed him at the exit from the investigative committee. The businessman’s lawyer refused to comment. Sargsyan denies any involvement in the incident. “I have absolutely no idea what’s going on. I hope that the law enforcement officers together with Aren will solve all the problems, “Tash assured.

During the inspection, law enforcement officers also plan to interview Garik Kharlamov, Timur Batrudinov, Garik Martirosyan, Alexander Revva and Artur Dzhanibekyan. Investigators want to find out from the artists details related to the events organized by Aren Virabyan.

“The man organized concerts for the residents of Comedy – negotiated prices with venues, handled ticket sales. However, these concerts did not always correspond to the declared ones: the organizers announced stars of the level of Kharlamov and Batrutdinov, and as a result, completely different, lesser-known artists performed,” reports Baza.
