“He knew he would die young”: Jane Fonda told why Michael Jackson stripped completely in front of her

The actress worked with Michael on the filming of the film “On the golden lake”. The drama was released in 1981. Jane starred with her father Henry Fonda and Katharine Hepburn in the film. Jackson was 22 years old at the time.

During filming, Jane had a small cabin right by the lake. One day it was a beautiful moonlit night, so Michael suggested that the others dive into the water naked. According to the artist, Jackson was thin.

Jane believed that Michael came up with the skinny dipping idea “because he knew he was going to die young” and that “she would talk about him naked”. The author of the famous set of exercises also talked about Katherine’s relationship with Michael.

The performer of the hit Thriller then played Sidney Lumet in the film “Wiz”. He wanted to learn more about acting, so he asked if he could come and stay with Jane and watch the shootout between Henry and Katherine.

“But Katherine didn’t know who she was at first, and she didn’t want to – she was such a snob, my God! “is it black”. But then she found out that he was famous, so she not only greeted him, but also brought him on set when she wasn’t working. Between takes, Hepburn would bring a chair and ask him to sit next to her, and she would tell him stories, and each story would be a lesson,” Fonda said.

The 85-year-old actress clarified that Katherine spoke to Michael about seeing Lorette Taylor when she was a little girl in the Menagerie of Glass. Hepburn was enchanted by the charm of perhaps America’s most brilliant stage actress of all time.

“Then she talked about how 10 or 15, 20 years later she saw Lorette Taylor again in the play and the magic was gone and because she said: “She wasn’t hungry anymore. You know? She was whole – not hungry and raw”Fonda said.

Katherine gave the young singer advice to stay hungry and deep. The artist received this parting word on the eve of filming Thriller. Hepburn had been Michael’s mentor “all week,” Jane assured. “She just sat him down and told stories that had lessons,” the movie star explained.

Michael died aged 50 in 2009 of cardiac arrest suffered after being injected with propofol as a sleeping pill. In recent years, his legacy has come under renewed scrutiny due to long-running allegations of child molestation. Michael was acquitted in 2005, but the allegations have continued to be publicized, including in the 2019 documentary series Leaving Neverland, according to the Daily Mail.
