Rasputina grew up as a modest village girl raised by her grandmother. Masha’s parents (and then Alla) worked hard and could not pay much attention to her. But she herself knew how to attract this attention. The future broken star stood on a stool and delighted his family with his amateur performances. Home rehearsals eventually helped Rasputina enter a music school and then make a career in Moscow.
