The 19th White Square Awards Ceremony for Best Cinematography in Feature Films Released in 2022 was held at the Stanislavsky Electro Theater in Moscow. The award was founded by the Cinematographers Guild of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia in 2004. The ceremony is produced by Maxim Korolev and Anna Mikhalkova.

The main prize, for the best cinematography in a full-length feature film of 2022, was taken by the cinematographer of the film “The Execution” Denis Firstov. Honored Art Worker of Russia Alexander Ivanovich Antipenko received the Sergei Urusevsky Prize for his contribution to cinematography, who directed the films “I ask for words”, “Vera. Hope. Love”, “Mio, My Mio”, “Bracelet Game” and more. The “Operator Recognition” award went to Evgeny Vetlugin, engineer-inventor and founder of the company “Sphere of Light”, which develops and manufactures lighting balloons.
