“People don’t take selfies”: Johnny Depp moved to a British county after his divorce from Amber Heard 26.03.2023, 11:35

After his scandalous divorce from Amber Heard, the Pirates of the Caribbean star wanted peace. The American actor moved to Great Britain. For his own convenience, he decided to change his place of residence.

Back in 2014, Depp bought a luxury mansion in Somerset for £13 million. The Victorian-style mansion has 12 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms.

“I like places with character. The British are wonderful, they’ll say hello if you’re neighbours, but they’ll never cross the line,” Depp explained. He added that he considers himself a shy person, although he likes meeting people.

“I’m not as outgoing as people think I am. In Britain, people don’t come up to me to take a selfie,” assured the Hollywood actor in an interview with Metro.uk. Johnny added that he doesn’t really mind this kind of attention from fans, but sometimes it’s just too much.

The day before, Johnny Depp visited a local musical instrument store. The actor took care of a new guitar. While doing so, he looked incredibly relaxed and clearly content with life.
