Peers did not spare: Prince William faced this problem at the Zvezda school

As you know, Prince William attended Eton College, a prestigious boarding school for boys. His classmate there was Eddie Redmayne, who became a famous actor. They were friends then and are still in touch.

And during their studies, they were also united by their passion for sports. Both played on the rugby team. The matches were a real test for Prince William. The fact is that players of other teams tried to face the heir to the British throne.

“William is a wonderful person. I always felt a little sorry for him because everyone wanted to fight the future king of England and he was always catching him on the field. He took all the shots,” Eddie shared in an interview.

Redmayne himself had much more pleasant memories of the school, because studying at Eton became essential for him not at all because of his acquaintance with the British monarch. It was there that he met his future wife, Hannah Bagshaw, while attending a charity event at the nearby school she attended.
