Pilot-hero Damir Yusupov and actor Yegor Beroev and their wives presented the film “In the sun, along the rows of corn” in Moscow 03/10/2023, 08:45

A stellar screening of the film “In the sun, along the rows of corn” was held in the cinema center of the capital city “October”. At the center of her plot was the famous incident that occurred on August 15, 2019. After that, an Airbus A321 of Ural Airlines collided with a flock of seagulls during takeoff from Zhukovsky Airport to Simferopol, and both engines failed. In extreme conditions, the crew managed to land the steamer in a corn field.

The entire flight from takeoff to landing took 139 seconds: 47 seconds it ran the runway, 92 seconds the Airbus was in the air. All 233 people (226 passengers and 7 crew members) on board survived.

The commander of the steamer Damir Yusupov and his wife Natalya attended the premiere of the tape. The pilot participated in the creation of the image as a consultant. “The film is very emotional,” the hero of Russia shared his impressions. – His main message is to appreciate what we have and not flatter ourselves about what will happen tomorrow because situations in life are different. Life can end suddenly, so we have to appreciate what we have.”

According to Damir, this tape is not a guide on how to act in emergency situations, but the life story of a Soviet boy. He dreamed of becoming a pilot and achieved it. Dozens of passengers from the same flight arrived for the film’s premiere. They often applauded during the performance. “You behaved very dignified that day – you helped each other and there was no panic on board,” Yusupov addressed them.

The role of the Airbus commander in the film was played by Yegor Beroev. He went to the red carpet with his wife, actress Ksenia Alferova. According to Yegor, despite the art, the creators of the tape tried to preserve the maximum documentary accuracy of all phrases and intonations, even Yusupov’s conversation with his wife on the inflatable ladder after the plane landed.

“I admire Damir, now my friend,” said Beroev. – With all the professionalism, he is an absolute romantic. Check out his personal blog – there are pictures of airplane tracks, sunsets, sunrises… You see, the guidelines were violated on this flight. Damir acknowledged this. I learned one important thing while working on this film: listen with your heart.”

The title of the tape is a reference to the line “Let’s go right, to the sun, along the rows of corn” by senior flight attendant Dmitry Ivlitsky. The premiere was also attended by the director of the film Sarik Andreasyan with his wife Liza Moryak, other performers of the roles – Polina Maksimova, Mark Bogatyrev, Zhanna Epple … The tape will be released on March 16.
