Representatives of the Norwegian royal family have arrived on an official visit to the United Kingdom. Crown Prince Haakon and his wife, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, were welcomed by the brightest couple in the British monarchy. The Prince and Princess of Wales greeted special guests from the Great Hall of Windsor Castle in the suburbs of London.
Kate Middleton chose a stylish trouser suit in an emerald shade. The fitted outfit emphasized her slim figure. Lately, the Princess of Wales has been particularly fond of trouser suits as a choice for business trips. Her image was completed by an airy matching blouse with a bow. The design was adored by William’s late mother, Princess Diana, and Kate has adopted this love of the elegant cut.
Mette-Marit wore a bright red midi dress with drapes at the neckline and sleeves. The wife of the heir to the Norwegian throne is also in great shape. William and Haakon appeared in white shirts and dark blue suits, the representative of the British monarchy wore a burgundy tie, Norwegian blue with white polka dots.
Kensington Palace confirmed that the four met with representatives of leading Norwegian companies working on green energy solutions. Among those present were directors of leading Norwegian companies, some of whom operate in Foggy Albion.
“We are delighted to welcome the Crown Prince and Princess of Norway to Windsor this morning to discuss green energy, the environment and more,” said the Prince and Princess of Wales.
The Norwegian guests also posted footage of their visit to London. The Crown Princess of Norway showed off another look for the official meeting in them – she chose a cream printed silk blouse with a flared high-waisted midi skirt in a mustard color with a graphic pattern.
“The Prince and Princess of Wales received members of the Norwegian Royal Family at Windsor Castle. Crown Prince Hakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit are on an official visit to the United Kingdom. There are close strong historical, cultural and economic ties between the two countries. During the visit to London, Norwegian literature and business cooperation were on the agenda,” representatives of Haakon and his wife said.
William and Kate last met their “royal colleagues” in February 2018 during their royal tour of Norway. The Duchess of Cambridge was pregnant with her third child, Prince Louis, at the time.
