The ‘Knock on My Door’ star actor lost his mother during the February 6 earthquake in Turkey. Chagry said his mother’s house in the city of Antakya in Hatay province was destroyed and the woman herself was under the rubble.

Chagry and Basak appealed for help everywhere: they claimed that the state was providing enough rescue teams, but this still proved insufficient as the disaster took on terrifying proportions. Admirers of the couple, along with them, did not lose hope that the woman would be saved.

However, this did not happen. Bashak reported bad news. “We lost our mother,” wrote Gümülcinelioglu, who did not want to reveal the details of the tragedy. Bloggers began to support the actress, who treated her mother-in-law like her own mother.
