Sergey Stolyarov was born on July 2, 1962 in Moscow. He became famous mainly for the role of Artem Shefer in the drama Tomorrow Was a War. The artist also starred in the films “The past is always with us”, “I call in the spring”, “Bird’s milk”, “Experts investigate”.

In Soviet times, Sergey got on television – he became the host of the popular children’s program “Children’s Hour”. Since 2000, he has been the general producer of the educational television channel Shkolnik TV.

He was the grandson of the legendary Soviet actor Sergei Stolyarov, who was called a real epic hero. Stolyarov the elder became the prototype of the male figure of the emblem of the film studio Mosfilm – the famous statue “Dělka z delnice a kolektiv”. He became famous for his roles in the film fairy tales Ilya Muromets, Ruslan and Lyudmila, Vasilisa the Beautiful, Kašchei the Immortal, Sadko. He died at the age of 58 from an exacerbation of lymphosarcoma.

Stolyarov Jr. was married three times. There is no information about the first two husbands, and the third wife, Julia, taught at VGIK. Sergey has a son.
