“I was terribly afraid”: Alexandra Ursulyak said how she met Alla Pugacheva 03/02/2023, 15:10

The prima donna has been living abroad for almost a year. During her last short visit to Russia, Alla Borisovna visited the Pushkin Theater in Moscow together with her daughter Kristina Orbakaite. That evening they presented the performance “Cabaret”, in which Alexandra Ursulyak played the main role. The actress admitted that she experienced stress when she found out that Pugacheva would be in the audience – she grew up on the singer’s work, knows many of her hits by heart.

“Of course it was such an event, I was terribly worried, I couldn’t pull myself together – because you can play, so you have to sing there too! In front of such an audience. You always want not to disappoint your colleagues. I was already there singing and doing some inhalations, I was generally nervous to the max, “said Ursulyak.

The daughter of director Sergei Ursulyak and actress Galina Nadirli was finally able to tune in the right way and play her role. The People’s Artist of the USSR liked the performance so much that she decided to go backstage and talk to the actors and the director.

“It was very important and pleasant for me that she came. After the performance, Alla Borisovna looked at us backstage, said a lot of kind words, and Kristina Orbakaite too. A pleasant meeting and, of course, significant,” Alexandra added.

The star of theater and cinema has two daughters from actor Alexander Golubev – Anna and Anastasia. Now she is happy in a relationship with violinist Andrei Rozendent, they have a 5-year-old son Vladimir. According to Alexandra, they have warm friendly relations in the family. They all spend the summer together at the dacha outside the city.

“I was drawn to Earth at exactly 30 years old. I’ve never felt this way before, I’ve always been a city person… And then it was like they pushed a button and I went crazy: I wanted country comfort, country style. Then we had a cottage where we go regularly. In the summer, our whole family resides there,” StarHit quotes the actress.

According to the representative of the star dynasty, her children are not capricious – they get an education, they try to help in the household. Alexandra complained that she did not have enough time for her loved ones – she plays in the theater, acts in films, is engaged in teaching.

“Unless people are millionaires, they are always working and doing something. Our life is built on this foundation. Everyone respects their work. But to be honest, there really isn’t enough time for yourself. Yes, sometimes we can spend the whole day together, but we never have enough,” added the “Amore More” star.
